Progressive Surveys for Conferences

Designed for Meetings and Conferences, EventCorp has developed a special Progressive Survey approach that has grown in popularity.  Utilizing its one-of-a-kind methodology, EventCorp has perfected an at-venue data collection service that gives Meeting Planners immediate feedback on how their event is going while it is still in progress - and lots of ammunition for future planning.

A progressive survey is designed to engage delegates numerous times over the course of an extended conference, on a frequency of their choosing. Measurable aspects of breakout sessions, workshops, associated trade shows, and social functions are rated by event attendees who input responses into user-friendly electronic data collection devices.  Depending on the number of times that an attendee participates, response cycles can range from thirty seconds to eight minutes. 

On first input, an event attendee responds to an “introductory” section with questions about attendance motivators, expectations, industry or association involvements, and so forth, as well as ratings of any particular event elements experienced up to the time of his/her first survey input.  On all successive inputs, the attendee sees only questions about event activities or elements that chronologically occur between the time of his/her last survey completion and the time of the current input.  Only when the event has passed mid-point in duration, or on the last day, is the respondent directed to a “closing” section of the progressive survey in which he/she provides overall event ratings and input on needs/wishes for future events, affinity to sponsors, intent to return, and so forth.

The survey need not be limited to registered delegates. Input from exhibitors, speakers, observers, spouses and other constituents can be captured through filtering questions and branched to specific interest segments. Results are produced virtually on the spot. Meeting Planners can include select survey results in an overnight newsletter - providing topical insight for delegates and/or exhibitors, thereby demonstrating that the organizers are on top of what's going on!  Unlike often-experienced low rates of return to traditional-type conference surveys (mail backs, e-mail questionnaires, comment cards, etc.), EventCorp makes data collection highly participatory, trouble-free, painless and fun.
